It sounds like it happened during the braking of the ride and hopefully going considerably slower. It would've been disasterous for it to happen near the end of the launch and moving at full speed or close to it. Althugh I would think any bird would have enough senses to notice the noise and vibrations and fly away.
Hopefully the bird didn't have a nest on the support beams somewhere otherwise they'd be liable in that case.
