The return of the Paramount Parks

Plans for 4 Paramont park in Japan,South Korea,United Arab Emeratee and in Spain have been annouced. Paramount Park Murcia, Spain had an offical ground breaking in July and is set to open in Easter of 2015.

The Paramount Park in Japan is a park that has already been built a company bought it and is currently putting new Paramount's movie themes to it. Paramount Park Japan is set to open in 2016.

Paramount Park Korea has been up in the air since being annouced in 2007. It's planned site is on a place is on a site where Dinosours are belived to have lived and might have some remains. It is set to be complete in 2016 if construction ever starts.

Paramount Park Dubailand was annouced in 2007. It was a quiet project and was cancelled in 2010 when tatweer went out of buisness.

I was in Korea in 2007 when that Paramount project was announced. Though they left the business in the United States by 2006 someone was willing to pay the money for the Paramount names elsewhere. It's just like the casino business in the United States. Sands Casino no longer operates under that name in Las Vegas and Atlantic City but opened their first Sands location in years in Bethlehem, PA, outside of the Philadelphia and New York markets in recent years.

All I saw for the Korea location was just fencing with signage. Still waiting to see if anything happens. Will Lotte World expand first before the Paramount Korea location ever opens?

The Spanish company doing the Paramount park in Spain is looking to expand. They should buy Elitch Gardens. Mind Earser could be Top Gun,Half Pipe could be themed to Face off and Sidewinder themed to the movie Greese

I wonder until how until Cedar Fair buys these too

Cedar Fair would not buy these parks. Maybe Paramount Park Japan because it was already used for Expo 72 and is just getting themes slapped on the rides. But Paramount Movie Park Korea (if it ever opend) and Paramount Park Murica are projects that will included a hotel,casnio and buiness complex. I am surpirsed for Paramount Park Murica they are not using themes like Nick,Top Gun,Italian Job and Tomb Raider to the rides but they are using Star Treck
