Because of rising costs, ThrillNetwork will begin offering tiered subscription services April 5. Falling ad income and increased operational costs have led ThrillNetwork to charge for select services.

The pricing plan will feature three tiers and two additional plans. They are as follows:

• Tier 1: Free. Members see all ads and pop-up ads. Ad-blocking software must be disabled to view the site. We will be using technology that detects and interferes with ad-blocking software.
• Tier 2: One-time payment of $5. Pop-ups will be removed.
• Tier 3: One-time payment of $10. All ads removed.
• Addition 1: For an additional $10 a year, members will have basic moderator privileges and an automatic club membership (the club will be announced later). They also will get access to a mobile coaster count application.
• Addition 2: With a partnership with Six Flags and Jeepers, for an additional $40 a year, members will get a basic season pass (parking not included) good at all Six Flags and Jeepers locations.

We will accept Google Checkout and Paypal for paid memberships. Senior moderators Brian F and Jimmy B will handle them.

With these changes, ThrillNetwork will continue to be able to operate, and it will remain a leading online community serving roller coaster and amusement park enthusiasts worldwide.
