Manny B. Monster decided to liven things up at the Snowshoe Taphouse in Six Flags Great America.
Too bad flashpowder and cloth decorations do not mix well.

The fire occured around 8 p.m. and was quickly put out by a band member. Nobody was hurt and there was no property damage. The Gurnee Fire Department did not learn of the incident until Saturday. The Snowshoe Taphouse was re-inspected and allowed to stay open. "Manny B. Monster" did not have the proper permits to use indoor pyrotechnics; however Six Flags Great America does have a permit to use them in the park as seen in their evening parade.
