10/15/2003 LONDON/PARIS (Reuters) - General Electric and Vivendi Universal said on Wednesday they had signed a final deal to merge their show business empires, creating a $43 billion entertainment powerhouse with assets ranging from Hollywood's Universal Studios to U.S. television network NBC.
