SANDUSKY -- Cedar Fair announced that its 3rd quarter earnings were up 12%. Cedar Fair said attendance and patron spending were up, it did not however meet its attendance goals for the quarter.



Cedar Fair has seen a 2% increase in spending at its areas such as hotels and other out-of-park attractions. The company was happy with its earnings which were not helped by a slow springtime start.

Cedar Fair also states that its profits were up in the 3rd quarter because the weather was much better than that of spring and early summer.

Overall revenue has increased 1% from 448.9 million dollars to $445 million dollars.
