Early this morning, a gas-fueled explosion at Ratanga Junction theme park in Cape Town, South Africa, injured 50 people preparing for the park's opening day.

The blast occured on Wednesday morning as staff were being trained in a kitchen that serves eight food stands. The exact cause of the blast is still under investigation.

The park still plans to open for the season on Friday, November 28.
