Six people were injured on a water ride at Cedar Point amusement park last night, officials said.

Two boats on the White Water Landing ride jammed together at the bottom of a waterfall run, park spokesman Robin Innes said. A third boat came down the run and slammed into the others, he said.

The six people were treated at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky and released.
