Alton Towers has applied for a late-night entertainment licence at its new hotel, which was immediately opposed to fiercely by the locals. The Splash Landings Hotel and Conference Centre at Alton Towers has requested a licence for its bar to stay open until 1.30am Monday to Saturday and until 11pm on Sunday.
