Posted at 12:50 AM EDT (0450 GMT)

Jun. 7th, 2005 -- Two Disneyland rides have earned their places in the National Museum of American History. On June 9, Disney C.E.O. Michael Eisner will present the museum with vehicles from Disneyland's Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Mad Hatter Tea Party rides.

The museum considers the rides iconic of Walt Disney's contribution to American entertainment. In addition to Eisner, museum director Brent Glass, Disney parks president Jay Rasulo, and Mickey Mouse will be at the ceremony.
