News: Wild West Theme Park to break ground

Aug. 8th, 2005 -- The owners of the Wild West theme park are ready to break ground on their theme park a week from today. Half of the commerical property has been acquired and the financing is in place to build the park just outside of Wichita, Kansas.

The park will feature 25 western-themed rides, including two roller coasters and a water ride. However, the anchor of the park will be the Johnny Western Concert Theatre, which will seat 1,300 guests. A hotel is also being planned. Specific time tables will be announced next week.
