Posted at 6:19 PM EDT (2219 GMT) Aug. 8th, 2005 -- TAMPA, Fla. (July 28, 2005) – This fall, Howl-O-Scream transforms Busch Gardens Tampa Bay into the “must see” Halloween event of the year. For 17 select nights, Howl-O-Scream plays upon your darkest fears with a nightmarish mix of favorite frights and terrifying new twists, including six haunted houses, five scare zones, two twisted shows and bone-chilling coasters in the dark. This year, your childhood fears don’t go away… they just get worse.

Howl-O-Scream runs select Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights during October: Oct. 6-8, 13-15, 20-23, and 27-31. Freaky Preview lets guests take a stab at the eerie event a week early on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 for discounted rates. Operating hours are 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. during Freaky Preview and on Thursday, Sunday and Halloween nights. Friday and Saturday hours are 7:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. 
General admission is $55.95 plus tax, with special savings available on advance e-ticket purchases at buschgardens.com. Additional savings and special offers are also available to Busch Gardens Passport members and guests opting for in-park upgrades, and at participating AAA locations.
