Posted at 7:16 PM EDT (2316 GMT) Aug. 16th, 2005 -- Visitors to Cedar Point may want to enjoy Demon Drop now, because they may not get a chance to later. Cedar Point has put the 131-foot-tall drop ride up for sale. The park said that it was trying to make room for any new attractions.
Although Cedar Point is not announcing the asking price for Demon Drop, the ride did cost $2.5 million when it was built in 1983. The amusement park has stated that if no one buys the ride, it plans to keep the ride. Demon Drop will remain open while Cedar Point attempts to sell it. Visit NBC4i for more information.
