News: California amusement operators under scrutiny

Dec. 3rd, 2003 -- The California Supreme Court may be filing lawsuits against major amusement parks for injuries filed by numerous people. The injured people claim that ride operators of these high class thrill rides are not taking enough precautions to ensure guest safety.

A few attorneys demand that operators should take utmost care with thrill rides, as opposed to the "reasonable" care being practiced now. They say as thrill rides get higher and faster, more precautions must be taken in order to assure guest safety.

This is ridiculous. 99/100 times the problem is with the rider, not the operator.
