News: Indiana Beach attendance increases

Posted at 3:42 AM EDT (0742 GMT)

Sep. 17th, 2005 -- Indiana Beach's 80th season of operation was a successful one. The amusement park saw a 5 percent increase in attendance. The campground saw a 10 percent increase and the water park proved to be a popular spot for Indiana Beach as well.

Owner Tom Spackman, Jr. does not release total revenue figures but told the Herald Journal that this season was the most successful for revenue yet.  The weather co-operated this summer at Indiana Beach, as the tourism in the region in general posted very high numbers.

Good to hear when parks have very successful seasons. I like it especially when it's park near me too. When parks are successful, that's when they can get new rides.
