Industry Announcements: La Ronde plans Halloween of fright and fun

Sep. 29th, 2005 -- A Halloween celebration that will scare some and delight others is in the works for La Ronde this year. The annual Halloween Fright Fest will run on certain days, Friday through Monday, from Oct. 1-23.

Among the more frighting attractions is Dr. Von Terror's Clinic, a haunted hospital under the control of the sinister Dr. Von Terror. There is also a zombie-infested ski-hill called Zombie Zone and Vampire Promenade, where a vampire hunter seeks to disrupt a vampire prince's coronation.

For younger children, there are puppet shows, crafts areas, and music concerts. There is also RatVille, a place home to giant, zany, friendly rats and ghosts on stilts.
