News: Paparazzo charged with battery at theme park

Oct. 9th, 2005 -- A paparazzo was charged with child endangerment and battery at a theme park for allegedly striking and shoving children to get a picture of actress Reese Witherspoon.

Todd K. Wallace, 44, is charged with allegedly striking a 5-year-old and shoving another child out of the way in order to get a picture of Witherspoon.

Wallace became angry when the actress and her friends declined to be photographed. He cursed them, and Disney staff members came to aid the group.

Wallace was charged on six misdemeanor counts and is due back in court on Wednesday.
