They should auction off pieces of roller coasters that don't get relocated. Imagine having the car from a roller coaster instead of a couch. It'd have to be comfy.

Then again Jerry, if you pull down the restraint, you would get stuck!
Anyways, farewell Astroworld... though the Six Flags graveyard, you gave Houstoners the times of their lives.

We love you Astroworld. RIP. It will be a sad day when the last customer leaves.

But think Homer...you and your significant other stapled in to your "couch."

So long good friend. I always thought the name was wacky but I really enjoyed Six Flags having that side of them. I wish only the best for the rides, coasters, the staff. Drink a beer for Astroworld; Last call.

I'm heading out to the park tomorrow.
Grim morning, grim evening.

It was naturally the first park I've been to. I have had so many memories through all my times there.
Keep in mind that to some people, Astroworld is the theme park world; that's all they've ever known. It is unimaginable to picture our city without that park. All we can do now is wait and hope that another company will consider building a new, bigger, and better park in or around the city.

Why dont they just sell the park so it stays a park.i am sure cf or paramount parks will buy it.instead of making it into another parking lot.

Goodbye, Six Flags Astroworld. Or as my fellow Starcraft geeks would say it: En Taro Adun. :) You have served the people of Texas well, and many others. You have given all of us a good time, a place to get away from our hectic lives. Even though the closest to Texas I have been was Ohio and Florida, I am deeply saddened by this, for I have heard much of this park. It's rides must be relocated to places around the park chain, so the spirit of Six Flags, inc.'s very first park, lives on.
EDIT: As of now, Six Flags Astroworld will no longer open it's gates to the public, or see the light of day. But as long as SWAT is relocated to SFDL, I don't care at all. :D

I somehow don't think this is the end.
