News: Storm Runner is topped off

Feb. 5th, 2004 -- Yesterday afternoon, construction workers at Hersheypark "topped off" the Top Hat on the park's newest scream machine, Storm Runner.

Storm Runner is expected to open sometime in May. The Top Hat stands 150 feet tall, and will feature a 180 foot drop next to the Dry Gulch Railroad and Hersheypark's monorail.
