News: Winterfest returns to Kings Island on Friday

Nov. 21st, 2005 -- For the first time since 1992, Winterfest will return to Paramount's Kings Island starting this Friday. Work began in mid-October to convert the theme park into a winter wonderland.

More than 3-million christmas lights were needed along with miles of other traditional christmas decorations. The park's fountains have been frozen to allow guests to ice skate. Winterfest runs through New Year's Eve.
