Posted at 1:43 PM EST (1843 GMT)

Nov. 30th, 2005 -- DOSWELL, Va. - This holiday season, Paramount’s Kings Dominion makes it easy to purchase the perfect gift for the entire family. At the lowest price of the season, 2006 Season Passes provide an entire summer of fun at the Mid-Atlantic’s favorite amusement park.

Paramount’s Kings Dominion Season Passes can now be purchased online at KingsDominion.com as festive, print-at-home holiday gift vouchers. With the purchase of two or more, passes are currently just $69.99 each. In addition, holiday shoppers have the option to buy now and pay nothing until March 2006.

Paramount’s Kings Dominion Season Passholders will enjoy unlimited visits to the park during the 2006 season and, when purchased now, a free upgrade to Gold status, with exclusive benefits, events and special discounts.

Although Paramount’s Kings Dominion is currently closed, plans are underway for an exciting new season which will begin on Saturday, April 1, 2006.  Next spring, the park will debut its 13th roller coaster, THE ITALIAN JOB STUNT COASTER, based on the high-action finale chase scene from the Paramount Pictures blockbuster The Italian Job.

For more information, guests can call Paramount’s Kings Dominion at (804) 876-5000 or visit the park’s web site at KingsDominion.com. Paramount’s Kings Dominion is located 20 miles north of Richmond, Va. and 75 miles south of Washington, D.C. off Interstate 95 at Exit 98.

Paramount’s Kings Dominion is a 400-acre theme park that’s home to more than 200 rides, shows and attractions. The park brings the best of Hollywood entertainment to the Mid-Atlantic with one of the largest coaster collections on the East Coast; two children’s areas—Nickelodeon Central and Kidzville; and WaterWorks, a 19-acre water park playground that’s included with admission.

Paramount’s Kings Dominion is owned and operated by Paramount Parks, a unit of Viacom Inc.

PKD's passes were $49.99 in November. They went up for December. It pays to buy early. There are some parks you can't even get in for ONE day for $49.99! Heck I don't even know if you can get into PKD for one day at that price. I haven't taken notice to gate price for years, but I would think it's probably around 50 bucks.
