Industry Announcements: Hong Kong Disneyland introduces flexible tickets

Posted at 2:52 PM EST (1952 GMT)

Dec. 14th, 2005 -- Visitors to Hong Kong Disneyland no longer have to decide on a specific date before purchasing tickets. Today the park announced a new plan that allows guests to buy special tickets and then use them any day within the next six months. Each ticket has three separate prices for adults, children and seniors.

Regular-day tickets, which are used on nonholiday weekdays, cost $38 for adults, $27 for children and $22 for seniors. Peak-day tickets for weekends and specific vacation days sell for $45 for adults, $32 for children and $26 for seniors. The park also introduced holiday tickets, which sell for the same price as peak-day tickets, but unlike the other two types, are date-specific.

Guests who have already bought date-specific tickets can trade them for the new tickets at the park.
