News: Canobie Lake's 2006 entertainment line-up.

Posted at 2:05 PM EST (1905 GMT)

Jan. 3rd, 2006 -- Canobie Lake Park is pleased to announce its 2006 entertainment line-up.

The Dancehall Theater will house an exciting, glitzy, glamorous
tribute to the female entertainer who has spanned decades of powerful
pop hits.   This original production, “Do You Believe – A Tribute to
a Legendary Icon" showcases elaborate set design and costuming.  The
powerful music track will keep your feet tappin' and your body
moving, whether sitting or dancing in the aisles.

It's time to groove and move to the CL5 – our newest heartthrob
sensation.  This show brings high-energy music to the center of the
Park with a compilation of today’s hottest pop songs performed by 5
power dancer/singers.  Free photo-ops and autographs after the show!

The Country Stage will house “3 Hot Tickets”, a fast-paced melange of
Chicago speak-easy, Bourbon Street jazz  and exotic Parisian night life.

Canobie Lake Park will also debut its newest character…Professor
UnCannny!  Professor UnCanny's show delights younger guests with
singing, dancing, crazy, mixed-up stories and street magic.  You
won’t be able to miss him driving through the Park in his “Bubble
Tubble”!

AND DON’T FORGET…

Canobie Idol will take place every Thursday night from June 29, 2006
through August 31, 2006.  Test your skills and see if you can be
named this year’s CANOBIE IDOL!

Every Friday Night from June 29, 2006 through September 1, 2006 the
Midway stage will be transformed into a wild Video Dance Party.  Get
your groove on each Friday with the hottest radio station DJ’s
spinning exciting mixes and win PRIZES, PRIZES, and more PRIZES!

Canobie Lake Park is pleased to announce the preceding line-up and is
confident you won’t be disappointed!  With over 85 rides, games,
shows and attractions, we look forward to maintaining our tradition
of being New England’s premier entertainment facility.

This was an email sent to me from the park itself (for my site CanobieFan.com)

So I guess Thrillnetwork along with CanobieFan are the first to 'break' this story. :D
