News: SFMW adding children's area

Feb. 3rd, 2006 -- Six Flags Marine World plans to open Tava's Jungleland, a jungle-themed children's area with seven rides, a giant treehouse, animal interaction, and a whale and dolphin show.

The park also plans to expand its operating schedule including Holiday in the Park, which will operate in wintertime.

Marine World plans to open "Shouka's Splashtime Show," a killer whale and bottlenose dolphin show. The show will include aerial acrobatics, and guests will learn about the animals' interaction in the wild.

Holiday in the Park will show off more than 1 million lights, and guests will be able to ice skate, sled down a hill, make holiday crafts and more.

Marine World opens March 4.
