News: 'Mr. Six' identified

Posted at 4:09 PM EST (2109 GMT)

Feb. 6th, 2006 -- The actor who played the famous Mr. Six in Six Flags commercials has been revealed.

The New York post reported that Danny Teeson of "Queer Eye for the Straight Girl" is the actor behind the old man.

The British actor's identity was given away on the Internet Web log pauldavidson.net.

Mr. Six, the bald-headed, thick-rimmed-glasses-wearing old man first appeared in mid-March 2004, much to the delight of viewers. The character slowly stepped out of a Six Flags bus and began dancing feverishly to "We Like to party," the 1999 hit by Vengaboys.

LOL, that was good, slnewbus. That made me laugh out loud. ...mountain. LOL.

I'm gonna miss Mr. Six. I kinda liked him. I think my favorite part of his influence on the people, is that everytime the song is played here at SFoG people all around you start dancing... like the song is overtaking their bodies.

It's infectious, I know. And that's why I like it. It added to the [quirky] atmosphere of the park. That's something SF parks haven't had much of. Atmosphere.

It was unconfirmed. I will mind it but not entirely believe it.

Should it really be a surprise? We already know straight white guys, much less old straight white guys can't dance. So I'm not surprised it's a "queer" guy/eye...or whatever you want to call it.

This guy was also a dancer for some of the Nickelodeon awards shows. I think they called them Teen Choice Awards. He also did promo and voice work for cartoon network. Kinda makes sense.

I will agree that the Six Flags Brokeback Mountain comment was VERY funny. I choked on my coffee. I will no longer drink and read slnewbus comments anymore. See you at Dorney this year?
