A maintenance worker died after falling into a pond while painting Ninja at Six Flags Over Georgia.
Six Flags Spokesman Jim Taylor said the 25-year-old man fell when a rail on his boat came loose. He was on a pontoon boat that allowed workers to paint the underside of the ride. He worked for an outside contractor. The worker was submerged about 30 minutes before a crew could reach him, said a fire department spokesman. He was nonresponsive when he was removed from the water, said Taylor. Another worker feel in the water, but he was hospitalized with minor injuries.
