News: New attractions coming to Gardaland, Mirabilandia and Aqualandia

Feb. 27th, 2006 -- Gardaland will be adding a new theater.  Plans are to open it sometime during the season, though there is not a fixed date for that yet.  Sequoia Adventure, which opened late in 2005, will also be promoted as a new ride this year.  And the park is also adding an IWERKS 4d movie called The Legend of White Horse.  It has already been showing at competitor Mirabilandia.  

Mirabilandia also announced several new attractions.  Chief among those is Ghostville, the park's first dark ride.  They are also restyling their "Scuola di Polizia" stunt show and adding the Katapult, a small used coaster to be placed near the Euro Wheel.  Mirbilandia will also be showing a new laser show, one that promises to be much more interesting and spectacular than the shows they have had in the past.

Aqualandia is building a new Kinderlandia area in the park, offering several new attractions for the younger set.  While they haven't announced any specifics on the attractions yet, they have posted some construction pictures.
