News: Painter falls from Chang

Mar. 29th, 2006 -- A contract worker fell from an extension ladder Tuesday at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. He fell while painting Chang, the theme park's Stand-up roller coaster.

The worker fell about 25 feet. He regained consciousness and was taken to the hospital late in the afternoon. His condition is unavailable. Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom opens for the season this Saturday, April 1st.

Let's go ahead and clear this up: there aren't any coorelations with both being SF parks. That work is contracted out, and could (and probably does) happen everywhere. Wanted to take care of that before that gets outta hand. Could be the "media's" focus on the subject. Maybe we just report it more now than before, making it seem like it happens more often.
