Looks awesome. This was in their survey about 2 years ago.
Can't wait to ride it next year. :)

A 121 foot drop, eh? If it's something like that, I better hope it goes upside down. :D

Dollywood is one of America's best park, and my #1 favorite. It has been for a long while. I'm so loving the direction this park has taken. They somehow have found a way to keep their old demographic (old people that like shows and mountain stuff) and invited the thrill-seekers to play too! So awesome.
Dollywood is a little like Disney, and can take a mundane ride, give it a little personality, and make it memorable. That's why it's the best.... personality.
Yay for Dollywood!

I thought Silver Dollar City and Dollywood were seperate compaines now. At any rate, B&M are not the only company to built a ride with a verticle drop. There is Tower of Terror at Goldreef, wich looks awesome on it's authentic mine tower, and lest we forget the Euro Fighters? I think the deal with Busch can do nothign to prevent parks from getting verticle drop coasters. Just not any beemers. I LOVE themed rides, and mine rides seem to be my favorite no matter how many times it has been done. Sounds like this one will be the big daddy of all mine type rides. I can't wait! This park is starting to explode into the industry in a very awesome way!

Silver Dollar City and Dollywood are both owned by Herschend Family Entertainment Co. (Dolly Parton is their partner in Dollywood)
I'm very excited about the ride. Looks to be excellently themed/unique...

In the old survey wasnt the vertical drop into a mine option a eurofighter?
THAT WOULD ROCK!

I'm thinking Gerstlauer EuroFighter. I was hoping for a Gravity Group Splinter (think Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain), but I don't think that they'd build one 121 feet tall... at least not anytime soon.

This is good for Dollywood. They need more coasters.

This is a great addition for Dollywood. In the last few years they have deffinetly been going down a very good track with there additions. I hope it will continue. For any one reading this now I know it's quite a while after the news post but for more information on Mystery Mine go to www.mysterymine.com
