Posted at 6:21 PM EDT (2221 GMT)

Apr. 26th, 2006 -- Geauga Guide has released 49 photos showing offseason progress at Geauga Lake park.

The Web site Geaugaguide.com posted photos of the Aurora, Ohio, amusement park. The photos detail general maintenance around the park, aesthetic fixes, the land where My. Hyde's Nasty Fall was located and work on the water park expansion.

Geauga Lake announced in November plans to complete Wildwater Kingdom and expand it six acres.

Geauga Lake opens May 13. Wildwater Kingdom opens May 27.

Grrrrrr. Those evil turds are getting rid of the ferry boats for good! Personally I think they were pretty cool. CP needs to move parking off to the mainland, and give ferry boat rides to the peninsula. That would solve the space issues by removing the parking lot. Looks like Cedar Fair is anti-ferry boat though.

^ About the CP space problem, I think A Parking garage would be a smarter move money wise, but Ferry boats would be pretty cool.

Wow those are great ideas, seriously. Now if only Cedar Fair would take some opinions from their guests.

Ferry boats at Cedar Point would never work with how slow it is to load and unload them. If CP was in fact out of room, I'm sure they'd consider a garage, but currently that's not the case.

The reason why the ferry boats are gone is because for as much good they did last season, the bad doubled it. What I mean is, the damn things were always breaking down. This caused problems because when those broke down and you were at WWK, you'd either have to wait for the boats to get up and running again or you'd have to walk all the way around. To tell you the truth, moving the bridge was a much better idea because it gives you two access points (one behind RWB and the floating bridge) to get to and from the waterpark. You never have to worry about the boats breaking down or anything, which in my opinion solves a lot of problems. And like someone else said, they do indeed take a lot of time to load and unload, and this was bad when only one ferry was running at times. So in my opinion, I think they are gone for the better, by moving the floating bridge, they have solved a lot of problems.

They indeed are opening the path behind RWB, as well as adding 2 ten passanger shuttles to carry passengers from by RWB to the Happy Harbor area.
