Jun. 3rd, 2006 -- With speculation swirling around Dollywood’s 2007 addition, the park has launched a new site to add fuel to the fire.

Very little information is available at this point, but like any good mystery more is to be revealed in the upcoming chapters. The site will provide more clues starting June 9.

The official announcement is set for July 7th as of right now and to find out all of the information you will have to wait until then. But for information leading up to the big announcement check mysterymine.com every friday in June for a new video and site update.

Well, I read in an ACE magazine a while ago that Gerstlauer said their biggest project yet was slated for the US in 2007, but that's pretty much all that was said... could this be the rumored US debut of the Eurofighter?

MAN, the production quality is lacking. I mean the editing is sub par the boy can act but that girl is AWFUL! Its not the parks fault but youd think the production company involved would do a better job considering whats at stake here and what their probably getting paid. The story is cool though.

No offense but chill out it was no big deal. All that there for is to get the story line across not to make it look like it took them months to shoot. Because if it would have they would have all been done in advance and more information may have leaked. I wouldn't be surprised if Dollywood found a local person that shoots videos for special occasions and had them sign a contract so nothing would leak out. Plus it could be done by one person and it wouldn't require a team of people. Because the more people that know about it the more chances of the information getting out. But just like every one else I don't know who did the video are what. But I do think the only important thing about them is the story line.

Last time I checked it wasn't supposed to be a 5 star film

The film is supposed to be a little campy and cheesy. As vekoma said, it's not supposed to be a 5 star film. Oh no, I agreed with Vekoma!

Pretty much everyone knows what the ride will be at this point, just not the details.

The park had sent out a survey I think 2 years ago right after Thunderhead debuted and in it was a concept for a coaster resembling what you see in the concept art (see the database link at the top of the page). But there is no guarantee that will be the final design.

It makes me wonder, will their new attraction be really that great, or are they just doing this for a huge amout of publicity to attract more people to the park.

You can never be sure but I think it will be that great because if you get all this publicity and then people ride it and find out its not as great as it is said to be then they will get on places such as thrillnetwork.com and talk bad about it. Which would just make all of the publicity go against them then.

Yeah, Timber Tower for example. We all thought that that was going to be a big thrill ride, and the......Well... Anyway, I've heard major things for this ride like fireballs and robotic bears/miners/ect. and then to top things off, a 97 degree drop into an old mine shaft. I can't wait till 2007! This is dure to be the best thing thats ever hit the small park!

I never said it had to be a 5 star film but I know for a fact with 3 days planning they could have done better. I have made award winning films with less budget and less time BUT like I said in my first post, the story is good, and I agree they are getting their point across.

Interesting comments. The serial film is built for a web audience and not for television or broadcast. I am glad you think the story is well put togther. Cannonballer, I personally like the production values but I wrote the script and directed the film so I am a bit biased.

I think you all will appreciate the project when it is fully released on July 7th.
