It's surprising about Balder.

I'm surprised Balder made it so high. Usually the classics stay at the tops of lists (as seen in the Golden Tickets), but I guess Intamin's really done something great with their new trackwork.

I cast my vote for the steel coaster poll! The more votes he has, the more accurate the results will be. You really should vote in it.

I'm surprised to see Balder that high. Usually, European coasters don't end up as high as first place in rankings. My experiences with Intamin's / Stengel's new track system aren't that great either.

Anyway, Balder just made it to my "must do in 2004" list. ;)

I haven't even looked at many pics of Balder, or really heard much about it, so its a little odd it would be #1.

Wow I can’t believe a coaster that I’ve never heard of won! I'm kind of amazed that I’ve only been on one of the top ten coasters.

Balder is the greatest ride I have ever ridden, but I'm still surprised with the ranking.
