News: Special events headline at Paramount's Kings Dominion

Jun. 27th, 2006 -- With summer heating up, the music and special events at Paramount’s Kings Dominion are getting even hotter!

July 6-8 the park will host Kings Fest featuring some of the hottest Christian bands around.  Newboys, Kutless, Casting Crowns, Toby Mac (formerly of dcTalk), the David Crowder Band, Jeremy Camp as well as Third day headline this three day event.

July 15 the park hosts the Gospel Music Explosion featuring Donald Lawrence and the Tri-City Singers.

July 16 -31 the park hosts Emergency Services & First Responders Days, dedicated to honoring police, firefighters and EMS professionals.  18 EMS & First Responder organizations from across the region will be providing exhibits and Guest activities.  Also the park will be providing a picnic meal from 11:30am until 1:00pm including: All-You-Can-Eat Fried Chicken, Hamburgers & Hot Dogs, Fresh Cut Fruit, Potato Salad, Ice Cream Treats, Soft Drinks & Tea. Additional meal ticket required.
