Busch Gardens Europe announced that they will be closing their antique car ride attraction to make room for a new ride.
Donnie Mills, executive vice president and general manager for Busch Gardens Europe and Water Country USA stated that, "After careful review, we have decided the Le Mans Raceway site is optimal for the park’s newest attraction." The attraction set to take the place of the Le Mans Raceway has not yet been announced. Le Mans Raceway was one of the parks original rides, opening in 1975. Since then, the cars have traveled over ten million miles. The ride is set to have its last day of operation on Wednesday, July 5.
