Finance: Hershey Entertainment announces new VPs

Feb. 18th, 2004 -- Hershey Entertainment and Resorts names two new Vice Presidents for Marketing and Sales.

Scott J. Newkan announced the new sales vice president today, Timothy R. Burgas. Burgas has been with Hershey Entertainment since 2001, as a managing director for Hershey Resorts. Prior to his job at Hershey, Timothy has been a manager at many resort industries.

Bugas is also an active member of the tourism trade organizations, such as Greater Washington Society of Association Executives. Bugas graduated from West Virginia University and got his bachelors degree in science and arts. Bugas is married and has three children.

Here is the announcement for returning marketing Vice President, Kimberly K. Schaller:

Kimberly K. Schaller has been with Hersheypark for over 16 years. She has been in the marketing position since 1997. Schaller oversees marketing in Hersheypark, Dutch Wonderland, The Hotel Hershey, and the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center.

The President and CEO of Hershey Entertainment, Scott J. Newkam claims, “A brand is the sum of the expectations that a customer has when purchasing products or services and when dealing with your company.

“A company’s brand is, in essence, an expectation waiting to be filled and under Kim’s leadership the stewardship of one of the most admired and famous brands in our industry is in excellent hands.“

Schaller is also a member of the boards of The Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority, and The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Assosiation International. Schaller graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor's in marketing. Schaller is married and has one child.

Both of the new Vice Presidents go in effect immediately and start working for Hershey Entertainment. Hershey Entertainment owns Hershey Park, Dutch Wonderland, and various hotels and resorts.
