News: Fire at Six Flags Over Texas closes theater

Jul. 21st, 2006 -- A small fire started at Six Flags Over Texas outside the Majestic Theatre, which just finished a show. No guests were in the theater, a park spokeswoman said.

The Arlington Fire Department responded about 8:20 p.m. Minimal damage was sustained at the theater. Performers were in the dressing room, but they were evacuated.

The Good Times section of the park was evacuated and temporarily closed. The park remains open, and the theater is expected to be open again Wednesday morning.
