Feb. 18th, 2004 -- Magic Springs and Crystal Falls, Arkansas' top amusement park, has recieved approval to sell beer and wine. The Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Commission unanimously supported the license.
The Hot Springs amusement park had originally been denied the chance to sell alcohol last month after local residents and Mothers Against Drunk Driving filed objections with the state of Arkansas. Magic Springs has applied for an alcohol license before, but last withdrew the application due to all of the objections they recieved. Magic Springs will debut their new Vekoma Suspended Looping Coaster, The Gauntlet, on April 10th. It is the largest expansion in the history of Magic Springs and Crystal Falls.
