News: Son of Beast lawsuit filed

Jul. 25th, 2006 -- One of the injured riders involved in the July 9 accident on the Son of Beast wooden coaster has filed a lawsuit.

The complaint alleges that the ride was not properly maintained.

A preliminary investigation found that cracked and or splintered wood may have caused the accident.

The accident injured 31 people.

Not surprised, Paramount will most likely settle outside of court, considering if they went to court, they would most likely lose.
hmmm, Maybe this invident will help them to tear down son of beast and put something good in? =D

Not very lolercoaster anymore....

I don't see how Paramount can win, it was kinda their fault....by Kinda I mean entirely.

Well this isnt surprising at all. There have been constant complaints about SOB. Shoot Paramount even filed their own lawsuit against the builders of the ride. So I agree with Kyle, I dont see them winning this lawsuit at all. They might as well cut their loss with SOB and just tear it down already.
