News: Kings Dominion offers Cedar Fair MAXX Pass

Posted at 6:23 PM EDT (2223 GMT)

Sep. 5th, 2006 -- DOSWELL, VA (Thrillnetwork.com) -- Kings Dominion announces three new season pass options for the 2007 season, two of which include admission to Cedar Fair properties, in the first of many expected adjustments resulting from Cedar Fair's purchase of the Paramount Parks chain in mid-2006.

Starting now, you can purchase one of three season passes for admission to Paramount's Kings Dominion.

  1. 2007 Paramount's Kings Dominion Season Pass - allows visits to ONLY Kings Dominion for the rest of 2006 and all of 2007 for just under $65.00.  A Junior/Senior pass is available for just under $50.
  2. 2007 Cedar Fair Maxx Pass - allows visits to all 12 Cedar Fair amusement properties (all 5 existing Paramount Parks, plus all 7 Cedar Fair RIDE properties - no Cedar Fair Waterparks). This pass will cost just under $89.99.
  3. 2007 Cedar Fair Maxx Plus Pass - allows visits to all 12 Cedar Fair ride parks and 5 separately-gated Cedar Fair waterparks (Soak City/Oceans of Fun). This pass is available for just under $150.

Again, Juniors/Seniors see additional savings on each of the season pass options.  Details are available at www.kingsdominion.com.

If you're a current Kings Dominion passholder, and renew/process prior to November 5th, you'll receive free parking at no extra charge.  A distinction has not been made for the Cedar Fair Maxx Pass regarding the water parks that exist within the Paramount Parks.
