News: Celebrate the holiday season at Busch Gardens Africa

TAMPA, Fla.  – This year, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will celebrate the spirit of the season and ring in the new year with special entertainment and spectacular fireworks Dec. 27-31.

The park will be transformed into a holiday wonderland featuring spectacular topiaries and poinsettias, festive decorations and classic holiday music.  

Join your favorite holiday characters for Christmas Celebration, a musical extravaganza featuring snowmen, carolers, toy soldiers and fun for the whole family! This unforgettable cabaret has become a park tradition and features high-energy singers and dancers performing a host of favorite holiday songs. There's even a special visit from Santa and his elves. The show opens November 18th at the Desert Grill.

Then, count down to the new year with the biggest party this side of midnight. Busch Gardens gives 2007 a wild welcome with nightly special entertainment and fireworks filling the sky Dec. 27-30 and the ultimate New Year’s Eve Celebration on the 31st. Ring in the New Year with SheiKra, America’s only dive coaster, a live concert on Gwazi Field and a dazzling fireworks finale at midnight.
