Crews have begun deconstruction of the attractions at the historic Oklahoma amusement park.
On January 26, a local news agency paid a visit to the historic Oklahoma amusement park. After 56-years of operating, the park has begun disassembling its attractions.
According to KOTV, workers have already begun the deconstruction process of several rides, including the “Scrambler” and the traditional merry-go-round. It is said that the rides are going into storage, but as to whether the rides will remain that way remains to be confirmed. A noted ride, popular for its frights and delights, was the dark ride “Phantasmagoria.” This ride, unique to Bell's, featured several horrifying delights, "designed to scare [riders] back into line", according to Bob Bell, president of the amusement park.
As of January 28, Bell's Amusement Park has a deadline to move out by March 8, 2007.
