Posted at 12:12 PM EST (1712 GMT) Feb. 3rd, 2007 -- On Thursday, February 1, 2007, the same five men that were arrested for forged hand- stamps back on October 2006 at Six Flags Great Adventure near Jackson, New Jersey, were now indicted by the Ocean County grand jury on charges of possession of a forgery device and selling fake re-entry stamps to park patrons.
One of the defendants, Richardo Chin, 20, of Union Township was additionally charged with possession of over a half-ounce cocaine with the intention of illegal distribution. The other four are Rashad M. Clark, 19, Edward B. Doherty, 19, James R. Garcia, 20 – all from Union Township – and Edward R. Williams, 25, of Queens. Law enforcers reported that the five men used items to make hand stamps so that park visitors could gain illegal entry into the park; they were later arrested in a vehicle by police after police were alerted by a security officer from the park. Chin could face up to a maximum five-year prison sentence if convicted of the cocaine charge for possession and up to ten years for intent to distribute, and the other four could face five years maximum if convicted for possession of forgery device.
