News: Silver Dollar City to receive on-site medical center

Feb. 3rd, 2007 -- Finally addressing the concerns of employees and their families, Silver Dollar City, announced they are opening a full time medical center that includes a full time doctor and nursing staff.

The center will be open year round to qualifying employees in the Branson area. This will be essentially placed on Highway 265 in proximity to the park and surrounding areas. Rates will be easily affordable for the entire family.

They have goofy first aid stations that don't really do much for you, and the doctor for employees is very inconvenient to get to since they don't allow parking anywhere near it. Nothing like being sick as all get out and parking a mile away from the doctor so you can stumble across a smoldering parking lot to get there and be excused from work.
