News: Las Vegas debuts at Legoland California

Posted at 8:39 AM EDT (1239 GMT)

Mar. 29th, 2007 -- As the saying goes: “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”, unless of course you’re talking about the new Legoland Las Vegas attraction at Legoland California.  In this case, the word is out and Legoland debuts their new attraction today.

The waist-high model features ten casinos, from the Luxor pyramid to the Stratosphere tower.  Park officials say two million Lego bricks were used to build the exhibit.

The Las Vegas model, which also includes scantily clad women, men handing out girlie fliers and partygoers with drinks in-hand, is the largest scale model at Legoland.

Knowing how small the New England area was I'm a bit curious to how this turned out. but it's good to see them working to keep the park new and exiting.
