Posted at 7:56 PM EDT (2356 GMT)  Jul. 2nd, 2007 -- A device more then likely a pipe bomb went off in a trash can near downtown Disney very early this morning.
The call came from Disney around 12:30am EST reporting a loud noise and white smoke. Due to the time of the incident no serious injury or damage occured. "We have recovered a very crude, homemade, low-level device," reports Sherriff Kevin Beary. Kim Prunty, Disney Spokesperson, says the park is cooperating with authorities and will continue to offer a safe enviornment to visit.

Woah. Thats crazy. Glad no one was hurt. Maybe had to do with all the crazy things happening in Europe.

Why do people have to destroy others to try and make a point. Or is this just some kid thinking it would be fun to blow up a trash can. I believe that we as a civilization are getting dumber by the decade. Before anyone jumps on me I mean people of extreme beliefs are using more extreme measures to get their point across and most of their beliefs are for peace. Blowing up something where people can and do get injured is not peacefull. To all those idiot extremeists out there STOP DOING STUPID S**T!!!

Everyone knows this was not a pipe bomb, but a firecracker, right? The quote was "had end caps similar to what a pipe bomb would have".
And it was not "Near Disney", it was in a dumpster at Downtown Disney.
