Posted at 11:52 PM EDT (0352 GMT)

Aug. 3rd, 2007 -- Walt Disney World has announced that the company has increased the prices of tickets of all four Disney theme parks. Disney increased ticket prices for their four theme parks. Admission will increase by $4 and will now cost $71 to enter any of the resort's theme parks. This price change will take effect Sunday.

This is the second year in a row that cost of tickets to the Disney parks have increased. Around this same month of August last year, Disney raised the ticket prices by $4. There have been no reports from either Universal Orlando or SeaWorld Orlando about any ticket price changes.

Disney spokesman, Rick Sylvain, stated that the company, "strongly [believes] that it represents great entertainment value... Nine out of ten guests rate their theme park experience from good to excellent."

Someone needs to tell Disney to stop raising prices. Its not good when you say you have all those people coming in and you raise prices. Its also not good to do it 2 years in a row. I smell money hungry CEO and Board Members. I think somethings wrong when you pull this. Not everyone can afford to go to Disney now because of this.

Good thing a friend of mine works there. With advance notice, I can get into any of the theme parks for free. Otherwise, Disney can kiss my butt! This is getting ridiculous!

I guess Disney is trying to force anyone that wants to go to absolutley buy the mutli day things.

There is no theme park on earth worth $71 for one day!
