Posted at 11:52 PM EDT (0352 GMT) Aug. 3rd, 2007 -- Walt Disney World has announced that the company has increased the prices of tickets of all four Disney theme parks.
Disney increased ticket prices for their four theme parks. Admission will increase by $4 and will now cost $71 to enter any of the resort's theme parks. This price change will take effect Sunday.
This is the second year in a row that cost of tickets to the Disney parks have increased. Around this same month of August last year, Disney raised the ticket prices by $4. There have been no reports from either Universal Orlando or SeaWorld Orlando about any ticket price changes.
Disney spokesman, Rick Sylvain, stated that the company, "strongly [believes] that it represents great entertainment value... Nine out of ten guests rate their theme park experience from good to excellent."
