Posted at 11:10 PM EDT (0310 GMT) Aug. 27th, 2007 -- Cedar Point for the last eighty years has been hiring international workers. It has been a growing market for the park. Now with more then 20 nations represented in the staff of Cedar Point, the park is so proud of having such diverse culture represented.
When you see most employees at Cedar Point during the summer you will mostly see college faces. But, what helps the park is the fact that most international workers have a four month visa abling the park to stay open when the college students return to school in August. Sandusky, Ohio has really become a foreign city with more then the 1,000 employees that are being housed and working for the park in the recent years. With people from Asia, Europe and beyond these foreign students are so excited to even be there. What is so fantastic about the parks foreign employees is that they love being where they are. The food and dorms might get tiring, but meeting new friends each year is what turns out to be priceless for these wonderful people. You can see any of these international "exchange students" all over the park from ride attendants, restaurants and games. For more information on this story, please visit The Plain Dealer.
