News: Hard Rock Park announces new dark ride

Nov. 2nd, 2007 -- 40 years after its release as a single, The Moody Blues’ hit “Nights in White Satin” will be the musical backdrop for a new dark ride at the soon to open Hard Rock Park.

The original song was more than seven and a half minutes long, but the band worked to par it down to the ride’s length of four minutes and 45 seconds.

Details on the ride itself and its manufacturer are still forthcoming.

The band also plans to play at the park sometime next summer.

The 140-acre, $400 million park opens in April in Myrtle Beach, SC.
