News: Conneaut Lake Park auctions office equipment

Dec. 21st, 2007 -- Things at Conneaut Lake Park seem to be going from bad to worse.

January 3 at 2 p.m. the park will host a sheriff sale auction to pay off a bill of $3,132.81 owed to Sysco Food Services of Philadelphia.

Items up for auction include a surveillance camera system, a desk unit, a copier, fax machine, filing cabinets and other various office equipment.

Sysco filed a judgment June 6 against the park for the bill that had never been paid.  

Any leftover funds from the auction will go to the park.  Conneaut Lake Park never opened for the 2007 season because there was no money to operate the park.
