News: Sega parks planned for Middle East, Africa and Asia

Jan. 18th, 2008 -- Sega Corp. and Dubai's Emaar Properties EMAR.DU have agreed to develop theme parks in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, Emaar said on Thursday.

Sega Corp. is the game publishing company famous for the Sega game systems as well as Sega games featuring Sonic the Hedgehog.

In a release on Emaar’s website, the companies stated they will initially develop an indoor gaming complex at the Dubai Mall on the site of what will soon be the world's tallest tower, the Burj Dubai.
